Catering and Tour Cancellation Policy 

 

 

 

Disclaimer

  • We reserve the right to alter menus prior to delivery of catering – accounting for ingredient shortages and availability. 

  • Palawa Kipli does not accept any responsibility for the injury or damage resulting from undisclosed allergies or dietary requirements. 

  • Palawa Kipli will not be held responsible for any accidental personal injuries sustained by clients while engaging our services. 

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or delivery of our products if customers breach our safety standards, or if the guest is behaving in an unacceptable manner or are affected by any substance, or if we have any concern about the guest’s safety or the safety of our staff and members of the public. 

  • Please kindly note that no video footage or voice recording is allowed to be taken on the tour, unless by prior application and approval of footage and use.

  • The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre / Palawa Kipli retains the right to all images on our respective websites. 

  • Images of our products, services, premises and staff are not to be used without prior informed consent – including for marketing purposes. 

 

Cancellation Policy 

  

  

1. Private bookings - If a customer cancels a booked tour or catering order within 14 days prior to departure or of the catering event, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

2. Private and Public tour booking - If a customer cancels a booked tour within 7 days of departure or day of the catering event a 100% cancellation fee will apply. 

​

3. Private bookings - We require a 50% deposit to secure all bookings, to be paid within 7 days of issued invoice date.

100% of deposit forfeited if cancelation occurs from the client's choice or reasoning. Once only credits or group rescheduling may apply. Strictly no refunds.

4. Our tours are all-weather activity, however we reserve the right to change or alter the tour for safety reasons or in extreme weather conditions. Any amendment to the tour itinerary will not entitle a guest to a refund or reduction in price.

 

5. We can, on request, offer a once only booking reschedule. The standard Terms and Conditions will apply. 

Any rescheduled tour booking is subject to availability.

6. International visitors who are subject to a postponed or rescheduled tour due to inclement weather, cancellation or unavailability from TAC / palawa kipli will receive a 100% refund. Strict conditions and circumstances apply in the event of this occurring. TAC / Palawa kipli will advise and negotiate with ITO’s and international visitors at least 7 days prior to departure date or earlier if possible.
